Title:
July Topic of the Month - Short Field Ops
Topic:
Safer Flight Through Understanding of Short Field Considerations and Techniques
Speaker(s):
Jay Seward, FAASTeam Representative
Brief Description:
It’s a hot July day in South Carolina and you want to go to your favorite grass strip BBQ joint. The density altitude at 8 am is already 3000 ft, which is far more than the runway feet you have available. How are you going to do this? Can you? Should you? Will your POH data tell you your answers? What plans and adjustments should you make? Ponder those risk management questions and then attend this seminar to discuss all those topics and more. Bring a friend too!
