Title:
AirVenture 2023 Forum - Loss of Control Based on Illusions
Topic:
Loss of Control based on Illusions
Speaker(s):
Dr. Michael Stretanski, AME
Brief Description:
Despite VFR and clear skies, the fact remains that competent pilots still fly perfectly good airplanes into the ground. In an effort to explain, understand and thereby avoid what happens in this situation, the topic of medical aspects of Flight Illusion and the role they play in landings where the plane can NOT be used again is explained in an entertaining but worthwhile way.
