USAF THUNDERBIRDS will perform an Airshow at the HNL Airport, Saturday and Sunday, September 19 & 20, 2009, but will be doingsurvey and practice flights beginning on Wednesday September 16. Accordingly, they request you plan to avoid flying within 5 miles of the Honolulu airport per the following schedule:
Wednesday, September 16, 2009 1530L - 1600L(0130z - 0200z) - Survey flight 5000' and below within 5 miles of the show center at the Honolulu airport. (No TFR - Notam advisory will issued to restrict flying within the above area - Will request all GA, air taxis, military, including other Oahu airports to advise pilots of advisory). HCF will institute movement area freeze at the HNL airport during the above times.
Friday, 9/18/09 1500L - 1600L (0100z - 0200z) - Practice flight 15000' AGL and below within 5 miles of show center at the HNL airport (TFR issued via NOTAM). HCF will institute movement area freeze at the HNL airport during the above times.
Saturday, 9/19 & Sunday, 9/20/09 1500L - 1600L (0100Z - 0200Z) - Airshow 15000' AGL and below within 5 miles of show center at the HNL airport (TFR issued viaNOTAM). HCF will institute movement area freeze at the HNL airport during the above times.
