Each month, the National FAASteam office develops a "Topic Of The Month". The FPMs and REPs are requested to pass this information on during presentations or during other training events. The topic for February is CRM which is a required training item in the commercial aviation world but not as much in the general aviation community. Many of our accidents and incidents might have been avoided if the pilot would have had a better method of managing all of their resources available prior to and during the flight.
