The FAA Safety Team would like to invite you to register on FAASafety.gov. The website is full of on-line resources and tools for the Pilot and Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT). Registration will allow you to be notified of all local safety events occurring in your area.
Pilots can enroll in the Wings Pilot Proficiency Program. Wings allows you to create and implement a personal proficiency plan to manage your piloting skills and make you a safer pilot.
From the Maintenance Hangar area of the website, AMTs can enroll in the AMT Awards Program. This program was designed with the AMT in mind to award them for the training they receive during the calendar year. It also allows employers to receive an award for providing training for their employees.
The Nuts and Bolts Newsletter is a quarterly publication that is written by mechanics, for mechanics. It has informative articles of interest to the General Aviation Maintenance community.
