Title:
Meet the Ithaca Tower Controllers
Topic:
Discuss Clear and Concise Communication with Ithaca Tower Controllers
Date and Time:
Wednesday, May 21, 2025, starting at 19:00 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Ithaca Tower Controllers
Brief Description:

Many NTSB and ASRS reports reveal that incomplete or inaccurate communication techniques lead directly to accidents. (Read this report) Even the recent collision at KDCA had a blocked transmission and ambiguity as a causal factor. Attend this important seminar to make sure *your* communication is accurate and clear.

COnsult the recent FAA FAR/AIM "Pilot/Controller Glossary" for correct terminology. These agreed-upon words have been carefully chosen to avoid ambiguity.
