Title:
IMC/VMC Club - Flight Safety for Pilots
Topic:
Fuel Planning Follies and Oil Consumption
Date and Time:
Tuesday, August 27, 2024, starting at 19:00 Central Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Tony Parakka
Brief Description:

Members discuss short videos and discuss how they would respond to the given scenarios. The first VFR flight scenario involves fuel planning for a long cross-country flight, and what alternatives we should brief beforehand.  The second IFR flight scenario also involves a long cross-country flight with partial engine power loss, with oil quantity being the chief suspect.  What would YOU do in these situations?  How could you prevent them?

This is an open forum for free ideas and we all learn from shared experience!  Both VFR and IFR topics are covered, to expand our safe flying envelopes.  All are welcome to join in.

Please Register to get WINGS credit for this event.
