Title:
High High Performance Performance
Topic:
What You Need to Know to Operate a High Performance Airplane.
Speaker(s):
Captain Mike Jesch
Brief Description:
We all should know that a special endorsement is required to operate an airplane that is considered High Performance, but the regulations are pretty quiet about what the training required for that endorsement should cover. This program will introduce a broad range of topics that should be included, ranging from airplane systems, limitations, monitoring, performance, human physiology, and more. Operating a High Performance aircraft requires High Performance of the Pilot, so let’s arm you with the knowledge you need to get the most out of your airplane.
Captain Mike is a Fullerton-based CFI, who has owned and operated a High Performance Cessna 182 for over twenty years. He teaches in a Cessna 310 as the Chief Instructor for the Multi-Engine program at SNA-based Orange County Flight Center, and is the 2026 National FAASTeam Representative Of The Year.
