The bulk of my flight instructing was done at Griffith and I worked with both Chinese and local students. I am familiar with the practice areas and frequencies they use. I am also familiar with the general frustration people express towards not being able to understand the Chinese on the radio. (Their Chief Pilot is one of my best friends) I also instructed for American Flyers at Dupage, where I went to ATP, and at Chicago Executive. So I am familiar with the Chicagoland airpace. I always enjoyed teaching ground and theory. I served for 13 years in the USAFR at Scott AFB, IL. I was a Master Sergeant and ran the Avionics shop. I was an avionics technician on the 737 and D.C.-9. I have attended Boeing's A&P course for the 737, and Delta Airlines advanced Maintenence course on the 737 and CATIII landing system. I am currently a Captain at SkyWest Airlines based in ORD. I fly the CRJ 2/700, currently. I also have 1600 hours as an FO in the E175. I enjoy educating people on new things and being able to say to someone "You can do this and I will teach you how". |
