9:15 Teaching How to Avoid Loss of Control: Presented by Frank Gozzo, professional corporate pilot, CFI-I/MEI, and 2013 FAASTeam CFI of the Year for Greensboro FSDO. It's hard to imagine losing control of an airplane in flight, but it happens far too often and often with serious or fatal results! Explore methods and mitigation strategies that can be taught to pilots to reduce their risk of a loss of control accident. Learn how to place special emphasis on the importance of remaining proficient and how aeronautical skills can become perishable. The FAASTeam would like to thank the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE) for their participation and contribution to the CFI Open Forum effort, without which we would not have been able to offer this opportunity to the aviation community.

Learn the correct task requirements, necessary procedures, and regulatory documentation to enable your applicants to become safer, more proficient, and more knowledgeable airmen. Discover how many required tasks can be accomplished in an Advanced Training Device.
