Brief Description:
This seminar will provide an introduction to the operation of the Garmin GNS430/530 GPS for those pilots with no prior experience with the unit as well as cover more advanced operations for those that do.  Some of these more advanced operations include checking RAIM, building and selecting flight plans, adding and deleting waypoints from flight plans, selecting and activating approach procedures, and flying GPS approaches including the transition to the missed approach segment.

The Garmin GNS530/430 GPS is one of the finest examples of how new technologies are shaping the future of aviation. Blue Sky Aero recently started operating an aircraft equipped with Garmin's panel-mount GPS. This seminar was organized to help not only Blue Sky Aero club members but all VFR and IFR rated pilots become familiar with operation of the Garmin GNS530/430 GPS. The event is open to everyone and will be followed with a light lunch.
