Loss of Control Inflight (LOC-I) is the primary cause of fatalities in aviation. It dominates in all areas from homebuilts to commercial jets worldwide. National Transportation Safety Board Member Earl Weener has called LOC-I a “stubbornly recurrent safety challenge.” Join veteran pilots and trainers Patty Wagstaff and Rich Stowell as we try to understand this phenomenon and offer actionable strategies for pilots (and their CFIs). Learn about new training approaches and hopeful preventive measures.
