Brief Description:

Part of the Huntsville Airport Open House and "Squawking and Talking" seminar series.  A fun day at the Huntsville airport with several seminars, free food, and mingling with pilots, examiners, and ATC personnel.  This seminar will review ADS-B theory, talk about the 2020 ADS-B mandate, and investigate ADS-B In/Out functions.  Additionally, we'll address UAT verses 1090ES datalinks, explore all the safety benefits associated with this new capability, and evaluate hardware options.

Directions to Venue:

Open house and seminars will be in Signature's adjacent maintenance/avionics Hangar.  If driving, exit to the HSV airport from I-565, then follow the General Aviation signs.  Parking will be in the adjacent parking lots south and north of the Signature complex.  If flying in, just advise Signature personnel that you are attending the Open House and seminars.

At 12 we will begin with the ADS-B seminar followed by the FAA Safety and the ATC presentation at 1:15.  So, please come by and meet the folks at TruHorizon, FlyQuest, and Signature and talk with the controllers and designated examiners.  
(tours of FlyQuest's Precision flight simulator will also be available).  Fly in or drive.  For those who fly, Signature is offering discounted fuel with min purchase and ramp fees are waived.
