Title:
The Importance of V Speeds
Topic:
The Importance of V Speeds: A refresher into the understanding of performance and design speeds.
Date and Time:
Thursday, January 28, 2016, starting at 18:30 Central Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Max Gurgew
Brief Description:

We'll dive into discussions of various airplane performance and design speeds, exploring definitions and the importance of understanding these airspeeds.  The "power curve" will be used to review climb speeds, climb capability, and to define the airplane's "happy place".  Our look into a typical flight envelope will assist in defining design points, stall speeds, and maneuvering speed.  So, you can't miss this one!  It's a fun and interactive review of a crucial piece to our flying world.  Seating is limited so please register on line at www.faasafety.gov
