Winter weather in New England can adversely affect flight operations. Poor weather conditions with fast moving fronts, strong and gusty winds, blowing and drifting snow, and icing conditions are just some of the issues that require careful planning in order to minimize their effects. So, how should you do your planning? Featured speaker Hugh Johnson of the National Weather Service (NWS) will showcase the tools available to pilots to assist in winter flight planning. Don't miss this informative briefing specifically designed to help you make the best decisions for winter flying.
