A big THANK YOU to the Popular Rotorcraft Association for sponsoring this WINGS event.
The course author and presenter, Tim O'Connor, is an active CFI, Commercial Gyrocopter pilot and Sport Pilot.  In addition, he has written numerous articles for various magazines such as Rotorcraft, EAA Sport Pilot, Sport Aviation, The Experimenter and many others.  He is also an FAA Safety Team Representative.

Both student pilots and seasoned pilots are invited to attend.  The seminar will include basic instruction on radio use by pilots in LSA and discuss pattern operations at non-towered airports.  The program focus is on flying and flying with low-mass, high drag aircraft such as small airplanes, trikes, powered parachutes, gyroplanes and light helicopters in the traffic pattern.  The seminar will start at 2:00 PM (EDT) and end at approximately 4:30 PM (EDT).

To learn more about the Popular Rotorcraft Association or to register for the PRA 50th Anniversary Convention and Fly-In go to www.PRA.org

Pilots flying into the convention to attend the seminar should use caution due to the high traffic pattern volume anticipated  during the fly-in event.
