Directions to Venue:

From Orlando or Tampa take I-4 to Lakeland, Fl. Take Exit 25 "County Line RD" & go South 4.2 miles to the Medulla RD traffic signal. Turn left (east) on Medulla RD & drive 1.75 miles to the Sun 'n Fun complex . You are now on Doolittle RD & should continue driving East about 1/4 mile to Sun 'n Fun RD. Turn left (North) & drive 1/4 mile to a stop sign on Laird RD. You will see the beige FAA Production Studio FAASTeam NRC on your left.

·         Bob Highley – Chairman of the Sun ‘n Fun Seaplane Splash-In, held at Fantasy of Flight

·         Dan Hickens – SeaRey Pilot with extraordinary long-distance treks in light sport seaplane

Each speaker will discuss seaplane safety from unique their perspectives.

The FAA Production Studios is a joint effort of the FAA and the National Aviation Safety Foundation.  The technical side of the FAA Production Studios is really expanding thanks to the joint efforts of the FAA, National Aviation Safety Foundation, State of Florida Department of Transportation Aviation Office, Islands of the Bahamas, City of Lakeland, Lakeland Linder Regional airport,  many aviation organizations,  and of course support from our wonderful volunteer Production Crew.
