FAASTeam Flight Instructor Open Forums provide an opportunity for Flight Instructors, Ground Instructors, Designated Pilot Examiners, and the FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam) to meet and discuss one or more of the Top 10 Causal Factors in General Aviation Accidents. This is an opportunity to collaborate, develop best practices, and mitigate risk.

The FAASTeam would like to thank the Society of Aviation and Flight Educators (SAFE) for their participation and contribution to the CFI Open Forum effort.
In addition to a discussion of spins we will hear from our Designated Examiners on training and safety issues, and invite all attendees to take advantage of the opportunity to share there knowledge and experiences with all.
Together as a Team, the Instructors and Designated Pilot Examiners can combine their extensive knowledge and experience with sound judgment to create and provide the most comprehensive and effective pilot training experience, followed by a reliable and effective evaluation.
