Weather is the most critical and complex variable that affects your flying. Weather is always the wild card during the preflight and enroute phases of flight! What are the secrets to arriving safely at your destination? Attend this informative seminar and learn the tricks employed by experienced pilots to mitigating the risk of enroute weather. Even if you are instrument rated, there are definitely times you should "make other plans." The tongue in cheek rules to "delay, divert or drive" are not too far off the mark for an effective way to stay safe.

This is an advanced briefing on weather and risk mitigation; however, pilots of all certificate levels are encouraged to attend. Recurrent training is the foundation of safe aviation operations!

Directions: Follow State Route 13 North from Ithaca under 2 overpasses to the top of the hill. The next light is Warren Road, turn left then your first right (about .5 mile) is Brown Road. Go straight to the red brick building with the airport beacon on the roof (this is the airport administration building).
