Additional Event Information & Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):

This event is sponsored by the Spokane Chapter of the Washington Pilots Association, and is possible because of the generosity of the Spokane Turbine Center (STC).  At STC "Missions is our passion, training is our purpose".  Jeff Turcotte, Executive Director of STC, will discuss aeronautical decision making by missionary pilots who fly in all parts of the globe.  Jeff holds a CFII, taught at Moody Aviation, and served for several years as a Mission pilot with the Mission Aviation Fellowship before coming to STC.  What important factors must be considered before takeoff, what must be considered during the flight, what factors must be carefully evaluated before making the decision to land?  At what point in the approach is the decision to land irrevocable?
