Attend this interesting blend of story and knowledge sharing from featured speaker Mike Bjerga. Drawing from his own experiences in flight instruction, Mike will incorporate important issues relating to regulations, airport operations, aircraft systems, aerodynamics, navigation and pilot decision making.

Mike Bjerga is a Full Time Flight Instructor with the Williamson Flying Club and has 4,500 single engine land flight hours (mostly Dual Given) and counting.  He has been instructing in Western New York for five years and previously instructed for Richmor Aviation/Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica and Schenectady.  Graduating Spartan College of Aeronautics, Mike also earned a BS and NY State Teacher Certification at SUNY Oswego for Vocational Education.  Mike served in the U.S. Army from 1991-98 as a Helicopter Repairer/Inspector and is certified as an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic.  Mike is married with a daughter, 10 yrs old and son, 4 yrs.  Mike is tired of talking in the third person, but would like to say that he would be very happy if you could attend.
