Additional Event Information & Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):

We may think that it won't happen to us, but each year pilots and their passengers are hurt or killed in airplane accidents during emergency landings. The FAA has three classifications of emergency landings; precautionary landings, forced landings and ditching. Many subjects are addressed in this Safer Skies video presentation including the three phases in the process of survivability; preparing not to crash, handling the emergency and actually surviving the elements after the emergency landing.

The Lehigh Valley Flying Club will offer an 'Overview of AOPA's Pinch Hitter's Course'. This will run concurrently with the 'Wing's Seminar' and run by a member of the Flying Club.  It is open to all non-pilots exploring what you need to know when flying right seat."

FAASTeam Safety Rep Jim Sankey will address FAASafety.gov and the new WINGs Pilot Proficiency Program.

Learn to be a safer pilot through continued education, while earning "WINGs" knowledge credit!

A special thanks to the Lehigh Valley Flying Club for sponsoring this event and providing food and refreshments. Please Note: If you drive to this event and you are not a member you must be escorted from the parking lot to Hangar 5.
