In conjunction with the Regional Runway Safety Action Team meeting, the Great Lakes Regional Office of Runway Safety in partnership with the FAASTeam will present "Navigating on an Airport." This program is a refresher on signs and markings and covers the best practices of airport ground movement.

This seminar will offer a refresher on airport signs and markings with emphasis on ATC terminology and improvements to airport signage. Surface movement on a tower controlled airport will be discussed and you will review and use the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system guided by experienced personnel from the Runway Safety Team. This seminar is designed to sharpen your situational awareness skills and your understanding of charts and airport diagrams. After completing this seminar you will be able to operate on tower controlled airports with confidence and safety. Sponsored by the Great Lakes Runway Safety Office, Vincennes University, and the Indiana FAASTeam.
