Chicago Aviation EXPO is sponsored by the Chicago Area Chapter Ninety-Nines, Illinois Department of Transportation- Division of Aeronautics, Wisconsin Department of Transportation - Bureau of Aeronautics, Illinois Association of Air and Critical Care Transport (IAACCT) and FAA FAASTeam.
Directions from Route 53 (going either north or south): exit at Thorndale Road. Turn East, go two lights to Arlington Heights Road (if coming down Hwy 53 from the north, this is 3 lights including the one as you cross back over Hwy 53 going East). Turn Right Follow the curve around, approximately ½ mile to the first stop sign, which is Walnut. There is a church on the far corner. Turn LEFT onto Walnut, go two blocks to Orchard, (just before the train tracks). Turn Left onto Orchard and into the Itasca Country Club. The event is being held in the banquet rooms in the country club. There is no charge for parking or attending the seminars
Refreshments and Lunch: Coffee and donuts/sweetrolls are available in the vendor exhibit area. A deli-buffet lunch will be available in the Country Club dining room.
Vendor Exhibits: The vendor exhibit room will be open from 8:00 AM until 2:30 PM. Visit the vendor booths to obtain the latest information on weather briefing sources and TFRs, visit with the FAASTeam to solve registration problems and visit our commercial vendors.
Other Activities: This helicopter seminar series is part of a larger program that includes sessions on IFR flying including an instrument chart review, VFR flying including sessions on towered airport operations and aero-medical issues and a Flying Companions program that provides non-pilots and prospective pilots with information on how airplanes fly, charts and flight planning. If you wish to receive WINGS credit for attending the seminars offered at this program, please register for each seminar individually. When you register for the seminars individually, you insure that credit is correctly applied to you. When you attend the program, an attendance sheet will be circulated. Make sure you initial it next to your name. You may also obtain credit by adding your name and email address to the attendance sheet at the seminar, but if you do this, please make sure that the email address you use is registered on www.faasafety.gov. You must have an email address to receive credit.

You may also locate and register for the seminars by clicking on "Events" on the light blue bar across the top of this screen. Type "Chicago Aviation EXPO" in the "keyword" field and "Illinois" in the "State" field and search. This will retrieve the individual seminars and allow you to register.
