Additional Event Information & Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):
We are extremely fortunate to have Mr. Richard Neher of the National Aeronautical Charting Office to provide this safety event. He IS the charting expert.
During this highly interactive program we will talk about ... Who's airspace am I in? How do I build situational awareness? What is the scoop on obstructions and the MEF? Where are those TFRs? Learn chart reading techniques and tips. Ever wrestled with a chart in the cockpit? During the group oral "Chart Quiz" we ask and answer those tough questions like... What am I flying over? How do I avoid TFRs? What altitude should I be at? How come I get lost...even when I have the chart in front of me? What are the latest charting changes?
Dick's mission is to tell us all of the valuable and need to know information that is readily available on our charts, but often over looked or unknown. An excellent seminar for ALL pilots - student through Flight Instructor.
The Aviation Safety Group of Massachusetts is the proud sponsor of this safety and learning event.
