Kelly Jeffries is a FAA Safety Team Representative and airline pilot. She will lead a discussion on radio communications procedures, navigation procedures, and airspace. The discussion will be based on a planned cross-country flight to and from Hartford, CT, to attend the coming AOPA convention in October 2007. Learn by a real-life example how to safely negotiate some of the country’s most complex and communication-intensive airspace. NOTE: Bring a chair and a New York Sectional chart.
