Brief Description:
Please join us to learn more about the underlying Issues involving Aircraft Accidents!
All of us will agree that no pilot wakes up in the morning and says today I am going to have an accident, however every accident has precursors that lead to disaster and You the Flight Instructor can make such a difference in a pilots attitude to safety through words and action. Jurg Grossenbacher, Milwaukee FAA Safety Team Program Manager, will discuss three specific Accidents that show us three different issues plaguing our General Aviation Pilots:
1. Non-Standard Operations
2. Normalization of Deviance
3. Degradation of Stick Skills
We will discuss the three accidents and the factors that led to the accident. We will talk about what you can do each and every day as you spend your time teaching, mentoring and evaluating your students and clients. Professionalism on your behalf is so important in keeping all the pilots safer.
