NAFI MentorLIVE - What Would You Have Done?
Topic:
Join Captain Brian Schiff in Studying Real-world Scenarios to Learn and Practice Aeronautical Decision Making skills!
Date and Time:
Wednesday, November 20, 2024, starting at 19:00 Central Standard Time (17:00 PST; 18:00 MST; 20:00 EST; 15:00 HST; 16:00 AKST; 18:00 Arizona; Thursday, November 21, 2024 01:00 GMT)
Speaker(s):
Brian Schiff, Aaron Dabney
Brief Description:

If it can happen to another pilot, it could happen to you! In this edition of MentorLIVE, Captain Brian Schiff will present several scenarios inspired by NASA’s Aviation Safety Reporting System (ASRS) reports.

We all love playing “Monday morning quarterback,” so Brian will present the first half of each scenario.  Then, he’ll encourage viewer participation to discover how those of us on the outside looking in think we’d have handled the situation.  Of course, each scenario will close with a discussion about the course of action taken by the actual pilot who submitted the report.

Studying real-world scenarios is an excellent way to learn and practice Aeronautical Decision Making skills.  And, of course, no presentation by Captain Schiff is complete without some exercises and brain teasers. “So come on down” join us and play “What Would You Have Done?”
