This topic will be presented the first Wednesday of the month at EAA Chapter 866 meeting and the first Saturday of the month after the breakfast.
Bring your family, friends, airplane and your appetites! This brief safety brief will be informative and tasty! This WINGS safety event will follow the monthly EAA Chapter 866 "Smilin Jack" pancake breakfast. The BREAKFAST IS NOT MANDATORY. The WINGS safety briefing is free. However, WINGS program participation is of interest to your aviation insurer and helps bring down your premium, adds to your proficiency and counts toward a flight review!
Data shows that pilots who participate in the WINGS program are involved in fewer accidents and incidents because of improved aviation knowledge and pilot proficiency. A Phase of WINGS equals a flight review. Additionally, some aviation insurers offer discounts to pilots who participate. If you have any questions about the WINGS program, talk to your local FAA Safety Team Representatives.
