Joseph Block is a Senior Engineer in Advanced Aviation at Crown Consulting. Mr. Block has primarily supported NASA and the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) on advanced aviation projects. Joseph obtained his B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Kansas, is currently working towards his Private Pilot’s License, has his Remote Pilot license, and supports the FAA Safety Team as a DronePro in Minnesota.

Aaron Sykes is a community leader and advocate for uncrewed aircraft systems technology. He earned a degree from the University of North Dakota in Airport Management. Aaron has a private pilots license, 107 certificate, and has been involved in sUAS since 2010. He was the co-founder of MAVMeetup, a community group focused on sUAS education, safety, and community outreach in the Twin Cities and oversaw its growth to over 1,000 members. Currently, he serves as the President of AUVSI Minnesota.
