ADAM GARRISON - Presenter

ADAM GARRISON is actively working air traffic at a mid sized Class Charlie tower and TRACON responsible for IFR and VFR traffic from the surface to 12,000 at GSO, INT, BUY, EXX, HBI, MTV, SIF, MWK and several other airports in between.  

He is an Army Reserve pilot, CH-47 Chinook PIC and Instructor Pilot. King Air qualified.  2,200 hours total flight time, 800 combat hours in 149 combat missions in the Middle East.  He is highly decorated with Army Master Aviator Wings and Combat Action badge to name a couple of his awards.  

Adam is an FAA Air Traffic Controller from 2011 to present where he is an active trainer.  He is a Co-Host of Opposing Bases Air Traffic Talk since 2018.

RYAN HAMPTON - Presenter

RYAN HAMPTON is actively working air traffic at a mid sized Class Charlie tower and TRACON responsible for IFR and VFR traffic from the surface to 12,000 at GSO, INT, BUY, EXX, HBI, MTV, SIF, MWK and several other airports in between.  
 
He holds ATP, CFI, CFII, and MEI certificates, with type ratings in Beech Jet and Canadair Regional Jet.  He has about 1,000 hours of general aviation experience in Cessna and Piper products and 3,500 hours of multi crew turbine experience.  

Ryan has been an FAA Air Traffic Controller from 2010 to present where he is an active trainer. He is a Co-Host of Opposing Bases Air Traffic Talk since 2018.

THOMAS P TURNER - Host

ABS Air Safety Foundation Executive Director Thomas P. Turner is an ATP, CFI, CFII and MEI and has been actively instructing for 35 years. A 5000- hour pilot with 3000 hours of dual instruction given, he holds a Master’s degree in Aviation Safety and instructs, writes, and lectures extensively on topics of flying safety.

In 2015 Tom was inducted into the Flight Instructor Hall of Fame.
