Title:
3 Strikes - You are Out!
Topic:
Weather Avoidance, VFR into IMC, and Loss of Control!
Speaker(s):
Lou Volchansky
Brief Description:
In this seminar, we will discuss weather avoidance. We will review past accident reports where pilot decisions on a VFR (Visual Flight Rules) flight put the aircraft into IMC (Instrument Meteorological Conditions). When weather is beyond the capability of the plane and pilot, loss of control can occur. After attending this seminar, you will understand how these three topics link together, and what the pilot can do to avoid 3 strikes - you are out!
