Amelia Earhart’s flight into History precipitated many books analyzing this remarkable woman’s personal life and progressive beliefs as well as her accomplishments and record setting flying achievements. Flying in the early 1930s was very challenging and Amelia’s flying record established some positive guidelines and contained some blemishes that give us an opportunity to learn from another pilot’s experiences. The talk will focus on her flying career and many flight “incidents” and conclude with the probable causes of her demise in her final flight to Howland Island.
Featured speaker Rollie Zavada, FAA Safety Team Representative will be presenting this exclusive briefing.
