Accidents involving amateur-built and light sport aircraft are on the rise! In fact, this segment of aviation is leading the industry in fatal accidents! Featured speaker Dave Pepple from the FAASTeam will discuss current trends and problem areas in the world of amateur-built and light sport aircraft. He'll review recent accidents and offer practical mitigation strategies for operating and maintaining these aircraft. All Pilots and Techs are welcome to attend.  Come early for the fund raising BBQ.

Did you know that fatal accidents involving amateur-built and light sport aircraft are on the rise! What's causing this to happen? Featured speaker Dave Pepple with the FAA Safety Team will present this exclusive briefing specifically intended to address these issues.

The evening will start at 5:31 with a BBQ to raise funds for the EAA Chapter 225 Flight Scholarship Fund, which assists with the costs of flight training to a deserving individual.

Attendance at this briefing counts for the WINGs Pilot Proficiency Program and also the Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMT) Awards Program.

Directions:  Exit I-95 at Maine exit 19.  Follow ME-109 toward Sanford.  After 7. miles,turn left onto Airport Road (just past Eagle Road).  199 Airport Road is the terminal on the Left.  If you see Cabana Lane, turn around.
