Title:
CFI/DPE Open Forum
Topic:
Come and Listen to DPE's on How to Better Prepare Applicants for Their Check Rides
Date and Time:
Wednesday, August 13, 2025, starting at 18:30 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
DPE's Frank Gozzo, Chris Kreske, Jay Nabors, Adam Walters, FPM Dan Kelly
Brief Description:

This will be your opportunity to hear what area DPE's are experiencing on check rides and how you can better prepare applicants. We will have several area Designated Pilot Examiners at this meeting so now is the time to ask any questions that you might have as to how to have your applicant pass their check ride on the first attempt.  We will also discuss teaching positive foundational safety elements that each pilot needs to learn early in their flying career. Even if you are not a CFI but possibly thinking of becoming one, this would be a good meeting to attend.
