Runway Safety Action Team (RSAT) Meeting
Each year, leaders at the Sanford Airport gather with members of the public to discuss ways to improve safety of operations at the airport. Operations at the airport are rather complex and include the Air Traffic Control Tower, the Sanford Airport Operations Department, the Fire Department, and other organizations. This RSAT meeting will include Sanford Airport representatives who will discuss actions that result in a safer airport.
Pilots are an integral part of safe operations at an airport. You can participate in this meeting and offer your ideas and suggest actions to improve safety. Please participate because your input is important, and we all benefit from improved safety in aviation.

To find the Vigilante Room: Drive into the Orlando Sanford Airport terminal main entrance and park in the short term Parking Garage. The meeting is in the rental car building, across the street from the main terminal building, in the Vigilante Room.
You will receive validation for free parking.
