Brief Description:
Experience hypoxia symptoms while being safely monitored in the PROTE Chamber.
• No-cost, valuable hypoxia training opportunity for qualified pilots! *
• Determine what your hypoxia symptoms are in order to recognize them.
• Important for pilots flying in the high-altitude environment.
* Chamber experience REQUIRES:
• Current FAA First Class, Second Class, Third Class Medical, or Basic Med.
• Must be at least 18 yrs old.
These will be checked at check-in. We need you to show up 30 minutes before your time slot for the chamber. You can plan on a total time commitment of less than 2 hours.
Wednesday, June 25th till Saturday, June 28th
45 minutes slots are available starting from 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM Wednesday through Friday and 8:00 AM to 11:45 PM Saturday in groups of 5 airmen. cannot

From AZ 89A (Pioneer Parkway), Exit at Larry Caldwell Dr. (Exit 318 if heading westbound, Exit 317 if headed eastbound). Turn heading north to the "T" junction and turn right. Larry Caldwell Dr. becomes Wilkinson Dr. Continue on Wilkinson Dr. to the venue (last building on the right across from the PRC control tower).

The FAASTeam would like to thank Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for hosting this event and CAMI for providing the PROTE and instruction.

The flight is scheduled in 45 minute increments with five pilots per flight. You must show up at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled flight.

If plans change and you cannot make it, please cancel your reservation for the benefit of others who would like to attend. Any late persons or no shows will be replaced with standby personnel.

Those unable to get a time slot, may come to the event and wait as a standby, but there is no guarantee that you will get a flight.
