This event is presented by the FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam) from the Albany Flight Standards District Office (FSDO). The seminar will cover information of interest to all pilots and student pilots. The topic will be presented by our FAASTeam Representative and Commercial Flight Instructor, Melodie Viele.
Could you accidently be operating an illegal charter? What does compensation and hire mean? Find out how to avoid and the consequences of falling into the potential trap of operating an illegal charter.
We will take a look as the various types of airspace, and the rules associated with them. This will also cover the UAS regulations, and discuss where a pilot should look for drone operations to keep them safe from collisions.
