In this presentation we’ll talk about recommendations from a work group known as the General Aviation Joint Safety Committee (GAJSC) that studies General Aviation mishaps and provides mitigation strategies. For this month’s topic, we review their study results and recommendations for Loss of Control on Approach and Landing, Departure, and En Route. We’ll also touch on changes to certification requirements for General Aviation aircraft and FAA’s MOSAIC - a new certification paradigm for Light Sport aircraft.
