Identifies how the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center (AFRCC) is organized and its role in coordinating federal responses to search and rescue events worldwide.  Steps pilots should take in flight planning and to utilize current technology to speed up AFRCC response efforts should they have an accident will also be presented.
