Our first speaker , Ravel Savage - Operation Manager of Palm Beach ATCT (PBI). Ravel began her professional journey at the University of South Florida, earning a degree in Education. Driven by a lifelong passion for aviation, she pursued a degree in Aeronautical Science with a minor in ATC through the Air Traffic Collegiate Training Initiatives (AT-CTI) program at Miami Dade College, and later obtained a MBA in Aeronautical Science with a minor in Airport Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be an air traffic controller, and in 2008, she was hired by the FAA. Her first assignment was at Fort Lauderdal International Airport (FLL) Tower, where Ravel spent nine years before transferring to PBI TRACON. Since then, she continued to grow professionally and remain deeply committed to learning and contribution to the aviation field.

Our second speaker, will be Air Traffic Manager (ATM) North Perry Airport (HWO) - Shane Wilkinson. Shane has been with ATC for 20 years. He started in the USAF, and continue to serve as an Air National Guardsman. He served seven years as contract ATC between Afghanistan and US facilities. Shane has been at HWO for five years and as the ATM for the past six months.
Having worked in several of the busiest facilities; Elmendorf Air Force Base in PACAF 2005-2010, Balad Air Base Iraq, 2008-2009, and here at HWO, busiest FAA Contract Tower (FCT) in the country for the past five years running. HWO is also the 3rd busiest facility in the US, averaging over 300,000 operations per year.

Our last speaker will be Nicholas Candelier, a controller at Miami TRACON. He has lead airspace projects such as the Class Bravo and Class Charlie redesign, and charting the Red Road transition. Nick is also a pilot who is very familiar with our airspace and has been involved with many pilot and safety discussion groups.
