Brief Description:

This presentation will focus on the requirements, privileges, and limitations of flying as a Sport Pilot. This presentation is both for non-pilots interested in becoming a Sport Pilot and for existing pilots choosing to fly under Sport Pilot rules. We will also talk about Sport Pilot medical requirements and the upcoming FAA MOSAIC Sport Pilot rule changes.

Jeremy Vecoli, an FAA Sport Pilot Flight Instructor and Advanced Ground Instructor based in Minneapolis, brings over two decades of aviation experience to his role. He completed his Private Pilot training in 1995 and earned his Tailwheel endorsement in 2016. Jeremy is passionate about vintage airplanes and is actively involved in EAA Chapter 25 in Lakeville. With a background in teaching and speaking, Jeremy has been a speaker at numerous aviation events, including GMAG and Oshkosh AirVenture.

Airport is located southeast of the City of Buffalo off of Highway 55.  Turn north on County Road 134 (at the Kwik Trip) and the airport will be on your right just past Menards.  It is easy to find using GPS/map apps.
