Topic:
What to Know About Owner Operator Aircraft Maintenance Records
Speaker(s):
Eric Sieracki, FAASTeam Program Manager
Brief Description:
This presentation provides a review of aircraft maintenance documentation requirements for owners and operators, emphasizing the importance of accurate and complete record documentation and why it is required to ensure safe operation of aircraft.
Proper record documentation is a shared responsibility between the owner/operator and maintenance personnel maintaining the aircraft. This training provides the background and understanding of this relationship. Poor record documentation can lead to maintenance errors, and quite possibly serious damage, injury or death. We'll start this presentation with this notion in mind.
