Title:
Flight Instructors - Are You the Best?
Topic:
BEST PRACTICES FOR TEACHING – An Opportunity for CFIs to Learn from One-Another.
Date and Time:
Saturday, January 20, 2024, starting at 08:30 Central Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Chris Hope, Master CFI
Brief Description:

For you newer instructors, and those working to become a CFI  -  Would you like to know some of the tricks of the more experienced teachers?

For you seasoned instructors -  What have you learned about molding better pilots over the years of your career?

Come spend a Saturday morning talking to other CFIs. Here are some of the topics on the table:

Landings – all dead stick, or airline type approaches?
Stalls, slow flight commercial maneuvers:  why do we do these? – just for a checkride?
More than the FAA requires –  Do you have your students:
          Flight into KMCI?
          Land on grass runways?
          Practice night solo landings
          Perform self-service refueling?
         Perform a blindfold cockpit check?
Do you (should you)  teach ForeFlight?
Are all of the pilots you touch in the FAA Wings Program?  Should they be?

If you are a free-lance instructor, how do students find you?

What do you want to talk about? Drop a note to thehopeschris@gmail.com and we will get it on the agenda.
