Title:
KFCM Tower Tour For Instrument Rated and Instrument Students
Topic:
RIPNY and NEADY and Grease Pens, Oh My!
Date and Time:
Saturday, November 18, 2023, starting at 11:30 Central Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Jeremy Hirsh, KFCM Tower Supervisor
Brief Description:

Ever wonder who is up there telling you to "continue" on the ILS, come put a face with the name!  Learn some better skills how to do practice approaches, work with Approach/Departure, request the published missed, see if there is a way to request an approach into the departing runway, what does "hold for release" mean, request "over the top" to an eastern destination, pattern work communication and so much more! A supervisor will give us a brief overview and we will have a Q&A session.  We can also talk to the controllers as their workload permits.

Most of all we'll all remember / find out that controllers are just normal people and how we can all work together to keep flying fun and safe.

This event is for Instrument rated or Instrument student pilots.  If you are focused on pattern / VFR questions please join us at the 12:15pm event on the same day.
