Brief Description:
Richard Jeffs, FAASTeam Program Manager for the SLC FSDO, and FAA Safety Team Representative, Rex Shoell, will talk about the FAASTeam and WINGS program and will be available to answer questions about the FAA in general.
The FAA’s Pilot Proficiency Program (WINGS) provides pilots with a basic proficiency program to help them maintain their skills and knowledge. All flying companies and organizations recognize that recurrent training leads to fewer accidents/incidents and promotes safer flying. Although not required by regulations, all pilots should participate in some form of recurrent training. The FAA offers the WINGS program as an easy way to plan and keep track of a pilot’s recurrent training.
