Poor or improper pilot decision-making based on interpretation of the weather has been identified as a causal factor. Pilot perception of weather information vs reality of the weather plays a vital role in decision-making processes. Incorrect perception of weather could lead to pilots ignoring or misinterpreting conditions and taking appropriate actions necessary to avoid hazardous weather. Learn about tools available to identify, assess and mitigate risky weather.
