Brief Description:
This Safety Meeting will discuss procedures, both in the air and on the ground, designed to increase the overall level of safety of operations at Van Sant Airport. Van Sant, with its active community of light aircraft, including biplanes, aerobatic aircraft, and gliders, has developed specific recommendations and procedures to help pilots maintain situational awareness and safe separation for all aircraft. This Safety Meeting is recommended for all pilots based at Van Sant, as well as those who may visit, even occasionally.
Seating is limited but you are welcome to bring a lawn chair for use in the hangar.
