Preflighting Your Passengers

The Rotorcraft Collective Series

Planning to take a passenger? We all know that before you lift that collective, you need to do a pre-flight passenger briefing. Did you forget anything during that briefing? The answer could mean the difference between a safe flight and disaster. Fortunately for you the Rotorcraft Collective has a 4.5-minute video about pre-flight passenger briefings to help you out. The Rotorcraft Collective is a group of about a dozen engineers, pilots, mechanics, accident investigators, and communication specialists from industry and the FAA.  All together they create helicopter safety videos. So take a look -bit.ly/RotorCollective. We share the same goal - your safe landing.  To learn more about the Rotorcraft Collective you can view a recent article in the Vertically Speaking section of the FAA Safety Briefing magazine at https://medium.com/faa/introducing-the-rotorcraft-collective-f53802ba9633.
