Pilots of all experience levels contribute to over two-thirds of all runway incursions. Holding short of a runway at the appropriate location is essential to maintaining a safe airport environment. Every airport is unique, and complex runway and taxiway configurations can lead pilots to make mistakes in the air and on the ground. Know when and where to hold short. FAA's From the Flight Deck video series uses cockpit mounted cameras to capture runway and taxiway footage and combines them with diagrams and visual graphics to clearly identify hot spots and other safety-sensitive items.
